Thank you to all who attended my jewelry party.  It was a lot of fun and we have surpassed our November goal!  I would also like to send a special thank you to my family for their help as well as Ingrid Mansen and Bernadette Collins for donating some great items.
Ingrid converts sentimental pieces like wedding gowns, fur coats and other clothing into hand crafted bears.  If you would like to see more of her work please check out her site at  handcraftedbears.com.
Bernadette has donated a beautifully crocheted cranberry scarf and hat with a gold charm detail.   These donated items can be viewed and purchased on the Art for Sale page.

We are now taking orders for our Homemade Holiday Treats.  These will be great to give to friends & family as gifts, take to a holiday party or keep at home to enjoy with your family.  Items available are:

  • Magic Bars - Toasted coconut, sprinkled over nuts and melted chocolate with a graham cracker crust.
  • Pumpkin Spice Squares - Rich and moist, this warm dessert has bits of gooey chocolate and tastes great served with coffee & tea.
  • Neiman-Marcus Cookies - This gourmet cookie has it all. Crunchy, pecans and oatmeal with flakes of chocolate that melt in your mouth.
  • Cranberry Noels – Classic sugar cookie with cranberries and pecans baked in traditional holiday shapes.

For those of you who are fortunate to not know the frustration of infertility, it can be quite costly. With our efforts to become parents we have accumulated some serious debt. We are currently on our second round of IVF (in-vitro fertilization) and this round I am getting acupuncture as well. During all of this we are continuing our adoption process. With the help of my sister, we have created this site to raise funds and share our continued journey with our friends and family. Thank you for your support in helping us get closer to our goal of becoming parents.
